Anne–Marie Chidzero
Chief Executive Officer: Financial Services Development Africa (FSDMoç), Mozambique
Anne-Marie Chidzero has 25 years’ experience in African financial and private sector development. She is currently the CEO of FSDMoç, the DFID-funded financial sector deepening programme in Mozambique. FSDMoç co-invests with banks, and other financial service providers, to develop, pilot and roll out financial services to the un-served and financially excluded segments of the population and businesses, and to market segments that may have higher risk profiles.
Anne-Marie is an internationally known professional in financial and private sector development having worked in organisations that include World Bank, DFID and FinMark Trust, as well as other DFIs. She is also very active in the private equity field as CEO of a USD42 million Pan African private equity fund for microfinance, AfriCap Microfinance Investment Company, and in co-pioneering a fund for growth of SMEs with a focus on women-led businesses anchored by the African Development Bank.

Jeanne Groenewald
Founder & Managing Director: Elgin Free Range Chickens, South Africa
In 1997 Jeanne Groenewald, a wife and mother of two, decided to start rearing free range chickens in her back yard. Armed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and BSc Agriculture in Animal Physiology and Genetics, Jeanne ultimately grew her small experiment into one of the South African poultry industry’s greatest success stories, while making a powerful contribution in the drive towards truly free range.
Jeanne has won several awards for her work, including the All African Business Leaders Award, and being named a Finalist for the 2015 Business Woman of the Year for Southern Africa Award.

Sharron L. McPherson, JD

Sharron McPherson has over 25 years’ experience as an accomplished investment banker and former Wall Street attorney.
For the past 18 years she has lived and worked in South Africa where she has been at the forefront of the movement to invest differently in African women and youth. Sharron is a founding member of the Women’s Enterprise Development Initiative (WEDI), Women in Infrastructure Development & Energy (WINDE), and New Faces New Voices.
Sharron is passionate about leveraging advancing technologies for development in Africa. She presently teaches Project Finance at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. In 2011, she completed the Global Studies Program at Singularity University and was a founding member of Singularity University’s South Africa Chapter.

Marek Zmyslowski

Marek Zmyslowski is a polish-born serial entrepreneur and experienced fast growth executive. Being an enthusiast of Africa, after successfully co-founding and selling 2 online companies in Poland, Marek moved in 2013 to Nigeria to become a part of the continent’s online revolution.
He co-founded HotelOga.com – Hospitality Technology Company, and Jovago.com – Africa’s Biggest Hotel Booking Portal, with backing from Rocket Internet and Goldman Sachs. In 2014 he was chosen as one of the Ten Most Important People in Tech by IT News Africa Magazine. He is also a former snowboard instructor, holding a racing license in motorsports.
