Dr Wamuyu Owotoki is the co-founder and CEO of iZola, a Kenyan start-up focused on making therapy accessible to families with neurodivergent children. As an entrepreneur and innovator, she is at the forefront of bridging the care gap for Neurodivergent individuals. Dr Owotoki has led her team in creating Xaidi, the first-ever health helper app for the neurodivergent. The app has recently reached the milestone of 10,000 downloads.
iZola has been recognized globally for its empathetic and innovative solutions. This includes being selected as one of thirty start-ups for the Google for Start-Ups Accelerator Program 2023 and winning the DIAR Award 2023 for Inclusive Deployment of Technology. iZola is also a part of the Nvidia Inception Program 2024 and the HealthTech Hub Africa Growth Start-Ups.
