Sponsored by NEPAD-SANBio and aligned with the African Union’s Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy for Africa 2024 under Agenda 2063, the programme advanced innovation-led, knowledge-based economies while addressing priorities including food security, health and well-being.
AWIEF served as South Africa Country Coordinator and Implementing Partner, igniting impact through:
- Training, mentorship, coaching and masterclasses
- Strengthening resilience, technology adoption and market access
- Supporting participants to leverage digital platforms to reach new markets
- Fostering a connected network with improved access to knowledge, finance and partnerships
