Since 2017, the AWIEF Growth Accelerator has worked with 300+ high-potential women-led enterprises to strengthen investment readiness, scale operations, and unlock access to finance and growth opportunities across African and global markets.
Delivered through multiple cohorts in partnership with several funding and strategic partners, including Nedbank, African Guarantee Fund (AGF), FSDH Merchant Bank and Victoria’s Secret, AGA provides:
- Business modelling and growth strategy training
- Corporate advisory and mentorship
- Access to networks, strategic partnerships and finance
AGA South Africa (2018u20132024 | 200+ beneficiaries)
Six cohorts delivered in partnership with Nedbank, building a strong pipeline of scalable businesses and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem for women-led SMEs across South Africa.
AGA Nigeria (2024 | 25 beneficiaries)
Delivered under Victoria’s Secret’s Tour Impact Fund, and one of only four organisations selected globally, AWIEF extended its flagship programme to support women-led SMEs in Nigeria to scale sustainably.
AGA Nigeria (2025 | 100 beneficiaries)
A tri-party partnership with AGF and FSDH Merchant Bank, addressing supply and demand-side financing barriers to create a pipeline of bankable WSMEs with improved access to affordable capital.
