The bank is also focusing on female employees and on Black Women Owned suppliers, which can be seen through our development and training programmes. We are also proud of the fact that at Nedbank women make up more than 60% of the workforce. Events celebrating women provides attendees with an opportunity to learn how leaders are tackling gender equality, to share what they are doing, and to engage with and exchange ideas with companies that are committed to delivering on gender equality. This is an excellent way to accelerate female empowerment within organisations and broader society.”
